The ILFM membership
The ILFM is the non profit making professional body dedicated to the education, support and promotion of excellence for specialist financial and administrative personnel working within the legal community.
Membership is open to everyone who has a professional interest in legal accounting, management and compliance including:
- Cashiers and accountants working in legal practices
- Practice Managers, Finance Directors and non-lawyer partners/managers (as defined by SRA Accounts Rules 2011)
- Solicitors, Legal Executives and similarly recognized professionals
- Members of accountancy professions
- Suppliers and consultants to the legal industry.
The ILFM is the only organisation dedicated to support excellence in legal accounting. The Institute is committed to the future growth and recognition of all its members. Key amongst the Institutes aims is to continue to be the only professional body that actively promotes professional standards for all staff working in legal finance and management by supporting members to develop their skills through educational courses, publications and seminars.
