The Institute of Legal Finance & Management (ILFM) is a non profit making professional body dedicated to the education, support and promotion of excellence for specialist financial and administrative personnel working within the legal community.
An opportunity has now arisen for a Sales/Marketing/Advertising Executive to join their team on a part-time basis (14 hours spread over 2/3 days ideally Monday to Wednesday)
As a Sales/Marketing/Advertising Executive, you will be responsible for making pro-active outbound calls to sell advertising space for their bi-monthly publication, Legal Abacus and Software Suppliers Guide which is an annual publication. Update Classified Advertising on the ILFM website, cultivate and sell banner space on the ILFM website, along with updating the company website regularly including introducing the ILFM onto the social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and keeping them all updated regularly.
You will use your excellent customer relation skills to build and nurture strong business relationships and constantly seek to put the customer and their needs first. You will also be required to operate the membership database so knowledge of a CRM system would be advantageous but training will be given.

o A good telephone manner
o Persuasive ability
o Confidence and an outgoing personality
o The ability to build relationships with customers
o Diplomacy and patience
o The ability to work under pressure and meet targets
o A good level of IT literacy Telesales/advertising experience
o Possibly from a publishing background
o Knowledge of CRM Database would be advantageous
Additionally, you must enjoy working as part of a team, a professional, friendly and customer service orientated approach is also key and the ability to negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
