The SRA has started a pilot Online Chat feature that advises on the same that the SRA Ethics Line.
The new on-line chat advises on:
Code of Conduct – Primarily
Accounts Rules
SRA Principles
Authorisation and Practising Requirements – Advice on authorising Solicitors and Partners/setting up new firms/adding new partners.
They do not advise on on-going training, CPD points etc.
It is accessed via the SRA website 'Question of Ethics page' where you just need to hang for a couple of moments until this appears.
