Sue Williams FILFM

MA(Exon), BSc(Soton), FCA, FILFM, CMath MIMA.

Sue qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked in General Practice as an Accountant for 17 years, specialising in dealing with the Accounts and Audits of Legal Practices, before moving across to join a legal firm 12 years ago.  Her current role is an extremely varied one as Accountant and Practice Manager of a small High Street practice in Mid Devon.

Since working in Legal Finance and Management, Sue has completed a Masters Degree in Leadership Studies at Exeter University, which she achieved with merit.  Her dissertation subject was how power is attained and exercised in Legal and Accounting Partnerships.

Sue joined the Institute as soon as she started working within Legal Finance and has served on the Council for several years. ILFM Chair 2015-2018
