The Legal Accounts Salary Survey

  • Posted

It's that time again - The Legal Accounts Salary Survey carried out in partnership with Balance Recruitment. Please take part - the more data we can gather from across the country, the more accurate the results are. We need you!

Our 2020 Legal Accounts Salary Survey is now live, and we again need to ask for your help in compiling the all-important data.

Whether you’re assessing your own salary, hiring for new staff or reviewing salaries for your existing team, accurate benchmarking information is invaluable. Our annual survey also goes much further, highlighting the prevalence of financial bonuses, reviewing the level of movement within the market and much more.

The survey is 100% confidential and you don’t need to enter any contact details nor identifiable information. It only takes 2 minutes to complete with a simple online questionnaire. As an added incentive, participants in this year’s survey also have the option to enter a prize draw to win a magnum of champagne.

If you find that it’s difficult to source accurate salary data within your region, you can play a big role in changing that by taking part and asking your peers and neighbouring firms to join in this confidential survey, sharing the link below. We’d again like to make a particular call to readers in Wales and the north of England to contribute and encourage others to participate, as we’d love to see a higher response level in these regions to strengthen the accuracy of data collected.

Our 2019 survey showed an increase in the share of respondents who enjoyed a pay increase during the previous 12 months at 69% - up from the previous year, but still below the 71% high seen in 2017. UK-wide recruitment data has consistently highlighted starting salaries have been on the increase over the last year – will we see the evidence of that in this years’ survey? Help us to find out!
