Louise Gray

I’m Louise, and I am the ILFM’s Management Accountant.  

Having joined the ILFM in 2012 as an Accountant, I am embedded well into the ILFM team and aware of industry changes, membership updates and am the administrative assistant here ensuring that my colleagues behind the scenes have everything they need. Weeks can be different as one week it could be full on accounting, and then another working on diary scheduling and internal agenda activities. 

Before the ILFM I worked in the accounts department for a publishing house, whilst studying to further my career in accounts with the ACCA. I like the fact that I understand the area of publishing because I’m in a better position to work with the ILFM’s editor of our membership magazine, the Legal Abacus. 

My background is mostly in the travel industry pre accounts, and I have also enjoyed time working in the fast-paced world of advertising.  

Outside of work, my husband and I are proud parents to two wonderful daughters, as well as being football enthusiasts (Manchester United season ticket holders).  

Something interesting to know about me is that I went on a solo trip around the world, travelling through Antarctica, China, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada. Eight months of travel opened my mind to many cultures and philosophies – I have friends around the globe for life!
