Robert Cooper FILFM

Robert Cooper FILFM

ILFM Tax Tutor

ACCA, FILEX, FILFM

Robert has 33 years’ experience in legal accounts and has been a Fellow of the ILFM for 31 of those years.  Robert is accountant and COFA for Hand Morgan & Owen Solicitors, based in Stafford. He will celebrate his 29th anniversary with the Firm in August 2019.

As well as the ILFM, Robert is a member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a fellow member of the Institute of Legal Executives where he qualified as a Legal Accountant.

He has taught taxation for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) at Stafford College, where he also obtained a City & Guild Award for Teaching in the Life Long Learning Sector.  He looks forward to using this experience in helping ILFM students and to give something back to the Institute that has supported him throughout his career.

In his spare time Robert enjoys films, walking and participating in sport, particularly running, football and gym work. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and  family, and particularly relishes arguing with his teenage daughter.

Outside of his family, Robert has two major passions, music (as a huge heavy metal fan, some people may argue with the term ‘music’) and watching football (as a huge Stoke City fan, some people may argue with the term “football” as well!).
