Finance and Office Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance and Office Manager to join our firm to manage our Administration Department. Candidates must be ILFM Diploma or Associate level, have detailed knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules, be well versed in regulatory compliance and support the Partners in ensuring the firm is efficient and compliant and possess a minimum of five years’ experience in Finance and Office Management within a legal firm.

Duties will include:
  • Overseeing the day to day accounts and supervising the legal cashier
  • Providing holiday and sickness cover to the legal cashier
  • Submitting VAT returns and payments
  • Assisting with Month End, Year End processes and the Accountants with the SRA annual audit
  • Maintaining holiday and sickness records for the firm (arranging cover where appropriate)
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to the Partners
  • Assisting with Practising Certificate and Insurance renewals
  • Assisting with the renewal of our CQS accreditation and mortgage panel memberships
  • Dealing with maintenance and arranging renewals of subscription and memberships
  • Liaising with our bank relationship teams and Accountants
  • Facilities management and dealing with all suppliers
