I found the diploma course really interesting and it has given me more confidence in the work I do on a daily basis. I have learnt a lot about legal cashiering whilst completing the course which has helped me improve at work. I have enjoyed learning all aspects of the course as it meant that the information I had learnt from the course I could put into practice. It has been challenging at times to keep up with all of the assignments since I work full time but I was determined to finish the course and qualify with a diploma.
Overall it took me two years to complete the course as I gave myself a year to complete each part of the course. ILFM have also been very supportive throughout my studies and I am over the moon that I won the Stuart Hattersley award. Diploma Student, December 2017
I have really enjoyed doing all the qualifications over the last four or so years and feel they have really benefited me in my legal career! Fellowship, November 2017
Very engaging and informative. Tutor outstanding both for training and as a tutor. Associate Legal Practice Management Revision Course, Oct 2016
Now that I am over the shock of passing, thanks to both Sarah and Jacky for their assistance on the revision course. I truly believe this helped me get the result I got. November 2015
I sat down and went through what I had learnt. I felt that we had covered some important points and felt happier. Definitely worth taking time out to go along to this Revision course. There was information mentioned that I would not have been aware of going into the exam. I found t extremely helpful. Oct 2015
I found the Revision course particularly useful as it highlighted a few areas that I would need to revise more on before I sat the exam. Oct 2015
A big thank you to Sarah and Jacky for organising an excellent Revision course! I've appreciated the location, facilities, attention to detail in organising the event. The fact that you were paying attention to see who needs more help and always having in mind the ultimate goal that everyone is as prepared as possible. I felt welcome and found the Revision course extremely useful. Oct 2015
I just want you to know that I received in the post today my results of the Diploma exam, which I took a few weeks ago and I passed. I'm over the moon!
The revision course in London that you and your colleague presented the week before really helped me and I'm so glad I made it. You wouldn't have been aware of the train issues I was having that morning but over coming those problems was definitely worthwhile because I learnt a lot from the day. You were also of huge assistance when you took over from James Wright.
So please can you pass on my biggest thanks to your colleague (for the help on the revision course) and another huge thank you to you too (marking my modules and for the revision course).
Thanks once again for all your help.

I initially found out about the IFLM courses through work, I was working as a legal cashier. I opted to do the home learning courses as well as attend the one day courses to supplement this. Home learning is not for everyone as it requires a lot of discipline and self-motivation but with the recent addition of the forum page to ask questions of other members and work with your tutor to get your qualification.
The assistance I have received from the ILFM with technical queries since qualifying, I have been a member since 2005 and have studied for my exams to enhance my knowledge and this has been absolutely essential in improving my knowledge and understanding the accounts rules. I completed my examinations in less time than was allowed for each level.
The diploma is a must for all training legal cashiers this will help you to understand what is required to work in a legal environment, with the computer software that is used in the work place you do not see the double entry which if you take the diploma this will assist you in working on manual accounts.
I would recommend getting your qualifications and improve your chances of improving your skills and confidence in your career.
