ILFM Membership is open to everyone who has a professional interest in legal accounting, practice management and compliance, including:

Solicitors, sole practitioners, legal executives, legal secretaries and similar professionals

The ILFM has three levels of membership with all new members starting as an Associate Member:

Associate Member (has access to all benefits of ILFM Membership)
Member - Designatory or Post-Nominal letters -- ILFM(Dip) or ILFM
Fellowship - Designatory or Post-Nominal letters - FILFM

You do not have to study for our qualifications or hold legal or legal finance qualifications to become an Associate Member of the ILFM. If you are studying with the AAT, CILEx, CIMA or for a degree our membership complements these studies and qualifications via exemptions to our qualifications. Our membership offers advice with Accounts Rules’ updates and general guidance when it comes to compliance, legal accounting and management.
