Tim Kidd, Chief Executive of the ILFM, has confirmed that Amy Bell has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Institute of Legal Finance & Management, recognising her exceptional contribution to the legal finance & practice management profession.
The ILFM Council is delighted to confer Honorary Fellowship of the Institute of Legal Finance & Management upon Amy Bell. The Fellowship will be formally presented at our Awards Lunch in February 2026.
Honorary Fellowship (HonFILFM) is the highest accolade the Institute can bestow. It is awarded to Amy as such:
Awarded in recognition of outstanding contribution to promoting the objectives of the Institute in driving innovation, education and in promoting excellence in finance and management throughout the legal sector.
Amy has been a long-standing friend and supporter of the ILFM and its members. In addition to being a qualified solicitor, she is CEO of Teal Compliance and CEO of AML Sorted in Australia and currently serves as Chair of the Law Society’s Economic Crime Taskforce, influencing policy and national strategy across the profession.
“Strong financial controls are essential to every law firm, and legal cashiers play a key role in safeguarding against AML breaches and fraud. I’ve long been an advocate for ILFM-qualified cashiers across the profession, so it’s an honour to be recognised by the ILFM.
We are all here to stop the baddies and protect the public. The ILFM community does that work every day, supporting firms to get things right behind the scenes so clients can trust the system. I have always loved working with the ILFM and its members, and I am hugely grateful for this honour.”

We are thrilled to honour her contributions and delighted to know she will remain a firm friend to the Institute.”
