Jatinder Loyal, Honorary Fellow of the ILFM

11 January 2024

It is with the greatest pleasure that Tim Kidd has awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the ILFM to Jatinderpal Loyal on behalf of the Council and the wider Executive Team. Presentation of the award will be made at our Awards Lunch in February.

Honorary Fellowship is the highest accolade the ILFM can bestow and is given to Jatinderpal as such:

Awarded in recognition of outstanding contribution to promoting the objects of the Institute by driving innovation, education and in promoting excellence in finance, compliance and management throughout the legal sector.”

Jatinderpal, although having moved on from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) after 20 years at the end of 2023, is now a life member of the ILFM and can use the designatory letters “HonFILFM”, together with being a firm friend of ours for many years to come.

“I am truly grateful for the esteemed honour of receiving the honorary fellowship for my contributions to the legal sector. The ILFM’s recognition is a testament to the importance of legal and regulatory compliance especially when it comes to protecting the interests of consumers and I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to contribute to the field. Over the many years it has been a great pleasure to share regulatory updates, insights and thoughts with the ILFM and its members. Once again, my sincere thanks to the ILFM council and executive team for this distinguished acknowledgment.”

Tim Kidd, Chief Executive, commented,

“Jatinder’s unwavering support for the ILFM, its members and the wider legal profession has shown in his communications, guest presenting at our conferences and webinars, answering convoluted questions and listening to feedback to find solutions. We know his colleagues at the SRA will miss him, as will the ILFM.”

We wish Jatinder every success in his new role and look forward to seeing his LinkedIn updates.
