For over 20 years, the Institute has proudly invited its members to share candid feedback on the legal software they use every day. Through a structured survey, members evaluate how their chosen systems support compliance, productivity and the demands of both legal finance and practice management.
Each year, the ILFM Law Firm Software Users Award recognises excellence based solely on users’ actual experience. ILFM Members, encompassing legal cashiers, practice managers, COFAs and sole practitioners, all contribute their insights. Their responses shape the outcome of this respected award, which remains entirely impartial and free from external influence.
Impartial, member-led recognition
The ILFM does not endorse or recommend specific software providers: instead, we empower our members to voice their experiences and help inform the wider legal community. Alongside the award, the ILFM publishes its Law Firm Suppliers Guide, offering a comprehensive overview of legal accounts and administration systems available across the sector.
